I started playing at church when I was 12 years old and I spent most of my free time playing many genres of piano music.  I later earned a Bachelor of Music Degree in Piano Performance with an emphasis in Piano Pedagogy and opened my own piano studio.  I also taught in the Community Music Division at Wright State University and at McCutcheon Music in Centerville, OH.  All three of my children have become accomplished musicians who played in bands and recorded two EPs while teenagers.  One majored in songwriting and is now teaching, also.

In my spare time, I love to play with my dogs and cats or curl up on the couch with them while I watch old TV shows and movies.  I also enjoy interior decorating and cooking.
